Anna stepped out of the grand Plaza de San Francisco and into the cool morning air of Santiago. Her first stop was the Paris-Londres Neighborhood, a hidden gem of cobbled streets and European-style buildings. Next, she climbed the winding paths of Santa Lucía Hill. The entire city was before her. After that, she went to the grand square of Plaza de Armas, which was alive with street performers, artists, and the hum of daily life. She then made her way to Un Oasis Restaurant, a cozy retreat with a warm, inviting atmosphere. She ordered pastel de choclo, a traditional Chilean corn pie, and enjoyed each bite. She walked to the Building of the Former National Congress and visited the garden. Anna arrived in the Lastarria Neighborhood. She passed street musicians playing soft melodies, artists showcasing their paintings, and bookstores spilling their treasures onto the sidewalks. For dinner, she chose Peztoro, drawn in by the warm glow of its lights. She ordered a glass of Chilean Carménère wine and a plate of fresh seafood. Anna walked back to Hotel Plaza de San Francisco and went to bed after a long day of exploring.
