This week I learned a ton about audio and the use of sounds in storytelling! I found this super interesting because I love listening to podcasts, and now I know a little more about what goes into it! First, I learned all about audio storytelling, which, truthfully, was my least favorite assignment this week. I enjoy creating much more than learning about the background, but I know both are important. Next, I listened to a podcast after learning about some techniques used which I really enjoyed! I really loved the podcast I chose to listen to! After doing the base work I was able to create which is always my favorite part! I created three audio stories, Michelle Bachelet’s First Day as President #17,Anna’s walk on Pea Beach #6, and Anna’s Coffee Adventure on Pea Beach #1. My favorite creation of the three is definitely Anna’s Coffee Adventure on Pea Beach because I recorded some clips in Starbucks to get the real coffee shop vibe! Finally, I did my 3 daily creates which I always enjoy. This week my favorite daily create was the safe haven post! Overall, I really enjoyed this weeks assignments!
